Costco (in-store only) has the Lenovo Legion 15.6" Y520 Gaming Laptop for $899.97 on clearance. This was found at the Livermore, CA, Costco.

It's currently on Costco.com [costco.com] for $949.99 + $14.99 S&H

I can't find a similarly spec'ed Y520 for less than $1100 online anywhere.

$50 isn't much of a clearance discount. They've really lost value and should shed to $850 before they're even worth considering.

While I agree that $50 isn't a huge discount off of their current online price (actually, it's $65 off if you consider the S&H), I feel that even the $950 price was a very good deal. I can't find a similarly spec'ed Y520 for less than $1100 online anywhere. If you've found one, please let me know.

Yeah but comparing to the Dell g5 deals with g8 i7s going for $950, I'm just not seeing this one hold a flame. I guess the Costco guarantee is good but not that good.

This is a fair deal for the specs. I can confirm this from my local Costco today at $899.

i7, 16gb ram, 256gb PCIe SSD.

The warranty through the Costco Credit card generally outshines competing models from Dell.
