Yes it does. My refurbished unit from previous sale was like new, with fingerprint sensor. Works flawlessly. This is an awesome deal for a like new unit with a 12 months Dell warranty. Refurbished by Dell so it is done right.

They are completely different classes of laptop. Acer is a gaming laptop, significantly better gaming performance and overall speed but relatively bulky, heavy and will have a terrible battery life (maybe 3hrs if lucky). XPS is an ultraportable, it's much smaller, lighter and will last 8+ hrs on battery.

Actually it's quad and overall one of the best rated ultraportables for today despite being a dell.

Thanks for the reply, how's the video card for the XPS? This is for my son, battery life is key but also I'm sure he'll want to do some light gaming on it, what games can he play on the XPS?

Maybe I should go with the XPS to make sure he wont' be on Fortnite Smilie

I mean it will run Fortnite although not great quality or framerate. Light gaming possible, I won't list any particular games since it's really dependent on desired settings, etc. But if battery/portability is important I'd definitely go with XPS. Also if you don't mind camping Dell outlet you can get an updated 9370 version of this refurbed at about the same price there are usually some 9360s there as well. The reason I like the outlet is because they have free returns (including free return shipping) so if there is something wrong with the the laptop, which happens with refurbs you can actually just send it back rather than deal with the warranty process.
