Note that this is not an independent inflator: it's an attachment for a pancake compressor.

Tried to buy it....

"Something's gone wrong on our end and we can't complete this request right now. You can wait a few minutes and try again. We apologize for the inconvenience."

Seems every time I try to buy something from sears it never works out. Shocked they are going out of business!

$6.99 at HarborFreight

Everything is cheaper at harbor freight. Never understood why people always feel the need to point that out.
Like if my friend said "I'm going to buy a bmw" I'd pipe up with "Honda has cars cheaper"
I guess a Mercedes or bmw should be the same price as a Honda Civic... I mean after all they are all just "cars" (who would expect quality to cost more?!)

An air pump/compressor is required to inflate tires?

I have this one: https://www.amazon.com/EPAuto-Hea...01D28NTPO/

The product itself is nothing spectacular; it's made just like all the others out there. But this particular seller belongs to the new breed of 'rating sensitive' sellers on Amazon who exceed even Amazon's reputation for CS. In my case, I stepped on the gauge after a few months and it cracked. I e-mailed them on a whim to ask if I can buy the gauge separately, and they responded saying they went ahead and dispatched a replacement inflator and I could discard the old one.

Since then, I always e-mail such Chinese sellers when their products fail, regardless of who's fault it is, and regardless of how long ago I bought it. In most of the cases, I've been pleasantly surprised with the results. Some of them ask for a picture, which I have no problem with, but I'm frankly aghast that many don't even do that. Regardless, none of them have asked me to bother with sending the product back.
