I've used this brand of batteries for several years... they have not leaked once --- unlike Duracell and Energizer which have leaked and destroyed so many of my devices.

I've bought 3 different kind of rechargeable batteries and they all suck. I'll admit two of the brands were not good but I thought amazon basics were supposed to be decent. They dont last as long as duracells

We have so many battery operatored kids toys, rechargeable batteries would be a huge initial investment plus the hassle of teaching a 7 year old to keep a set recharged is just to much for us. Thx OP, these cheap batteries work fine for us to swap into toys and work just fine, we dont see any usage difference between these Insignias and Duracell or Energizer.

Better off with Eneloop batteries for the controller. These you will burn through and dispose all of them by Christmas

Why are people still buying non-rechargeabke batteries?? Extremely toxic to Our environment and your bank account, as they're many times more expensive than rechargeables.

Did you try Eneloops with a good charger?

Sounds like you went cheap on the re-chargeables. Get eneloop.
