Not the best price, but good deal if you're in the market for both of these. These rarely go on sale.

Pretty decent deal, I just bought these at Best Buy a week ago for $140 after taxes. I tried on a bunch of headsets and these were the most comfortable.

The only problem I'm having with them is on my xbox one x the mic will stop working after I haven't used my xbox in awhile. I'll restart my xbox and then the mic will work fine until the next time I go to use my xbox and same issue. I plugged the receiver into a different usb port on my xbox, powered off headset and back on, all the troubleshooting steps I could think of. Only thing that will fix it is restarting xbox.

I called Plantronics customer support and they had no other ideas on what to do to fix it and just told me to return it and get another. So I'll be returning mine to Best Buy...but not sure if I want to buy it again. My headset/mic isn't defective since it works great once I restart my xbox so I bet if I get a other one from Newegg it will have same issue. I guess I could give it a try and if the one from Newegg does the same thing then I'll have to return it and go with a different brand. Headphones work great and super comfortable for hours of gaming, no discomfort at all but the mic issue is just annoying.

This is the best headset i have ever used on my xbox. 14hrs battery life, lightweight, no connection issues, and no comfort issues. Ive gone through 8 different types previously. Roommate had to get a pair also. Amazing!

Do you have to restart/power off your xbox to get mic to work or does the mix work for you without having to fiddle with it?

Do you happen to have instant-on set up? I have all kinds of mic issues when I enable that on my 1X.

The Arctis steel series 7 has a setting that turns itself off after a while if the mic can't pick up any noise. Does this headset also allow you to change its settings in PC via an app so that they remain when using xbox? I think the Steel series Arctis does. If not I am thinking of the Astro A-50's which are better rated than the Steel Arctis 7 on rtings.com. They cost way to much for headphones you wouldn't want to be seen outside wearing, but when cyberpunk 2077 comes out they might heighten your sense of immersion Smilie

This happened to me once, and the only way I could fix it, is by plugging it into my old Gen 1 Xbox One. I tried everything else, restarts, different usb ports etc. I then plugged it into my X afterwards and its been working fine ever since. Strangest thing, but this was months ago and it's never happened again since.

In my personal experience/opinion, the sound quality of the RIG is pretty disappointing. I prefer the hyperX cloud flights with some aftermarket ear pads from amazon

I have the Arctis 7 and 7 Wireless Pro. They have been great. Wife got the regular 7 now.

Just unplug the transmitter from the USB port and plug back in. I've had the same issues once in awhile. That fixes it instead of restarting the Xbox
