BS says 249$ everywhere around me in NJ/NY...
HD clearance prices are harder to find than Lowes around here.

I got in on the $50 refurbished deal for this earlier this year. It works really well, I've had no issues with mine so far. It is admittedly huge and incredibly heavy compared to an air powered gun, but I think that's expected. If I had $125 to put towards my first nail gun it'd probably be used towards a pancake compressor and gun, but for quick jobs this is really handy to have around that's for sure.

A lot of complaints that this thing has trouble countersinking 2in nails. It sucks to go out of your tool line, but the Ryobi airstrike nailer can be had for a similar price with a battery and it is rated much better.

I'd be willing to try this in spite of the reviews but it's $249 around here too.

I have one, The 1st 2 I got (refurbs) were broke from the get go. I sent the 2nd in for warranty. Took forever (like 6 weeks to be repaired), project I bought it for got completed. I now have it back and it works, but I have only shot a few nails for tests.

Possibly this one. I don't ever see a 18v rigid nailer getting to $50.

Granted I got lucky on that one, and it is "certified pre-owned" so obviously no LSA from ridgid. No brainer for $50 though.

The Porter Cable compressor with finish nailer, brad nailer, and stapler for $199 goes on sale regularly at Home Depot. I coupled with Menards 11% off sale and have been happy with the purchase. My father in law paid $225 for the Dewalt version of just the compressor, which identical to the PC; wish he would have asked me before he purchased.

I've been eyeing one of these battery powered guns to take with me when going to help friends/family with their projects and am not sure what will be needed. Jetta fills up fast with tools, especially if you have to include a compressor, ladder(s), and/or saw horses.
