These are v1, which are ancient (10+ years old). Be prepared for bad batteries. Looks like all sales are final on the listing, so keep that in mind.

Last year, open box v1 minimotes were being blown out on eBay for less than $5 a pop (or even less if you buy 3). I grabbed like a dozen, and got them all refunded for bad batteries.

All that being said, new batteries are relatively cheap ($12 for 5, or thereabouts on eBay) and can be swapped out pretty easily if you're careful. Search the SmartThings community for details.

These minimotes are easily the most handy devices in my SmartThings setup. I have them all over the house, batteries last for months, and paired with webcore, there are infinite HA possibilities. Love them!!

These are super handy. At $10, no brainer. Order 2 to just have laying around.

these are awesome! I might get a couple more. I have them all over the house. they are great for controlling plug in dimmers, or hardwired outlets, for example.

I have one dedicated to the yard to turn music on, swap speakers, etc.

I got them on eBay, a while back, i think it was like $18 per... so at <$10, i'm seriously thinking of getting some for backup.

I was hoping these would pop up again. Newer models are more than double this price with little added capability. These are handy for controlling lights, outlets, and speakers from my desk and couch. I picked up 4 more for other rooms. Repped!

No - it's a pair of Denons and a Harmony. The older denon feeds the patio... with 4 speakers. I have analog volume control, two speakers are set to a lower volume and focused to dinning area, other set just a few feet away is set to a higher volume, and directed towards the pool. Harmony has activities that indicate which speaker pair to fire off Radio (Pool) or Radio (Patio).

when the minimote is on the wall, the buttons location represents which speaker will fire, for WAF

Thanks! I was worried about the battery - didn't realize it's replaceable.

Mini. Which is an issue.

Also the battery lasts like 1 or 2 days. So basically when you grab it to use it dead unless you plan on keeping it plugged in .

I have 2 and never used them except the day i set them up.
