This is a pretty good price for some headphones from a highly regarded company. These are normally $80. Amazon is out of stock, but you can still order it at the $35.50 price for later delivery.

Now usually ships within 1 to 2 months.

You must have had a defective pair. Grado is fairly respectable in the personal audio world. My pair has plenty of bass, albeit not overblown at the Beats level, but decent and accurate bass.

before slickdeals, I had the time to lay down and listen to music with grado's.

A company with 8 listings that are a bunch of cheap crap--most likely a scam IMHO.

I believe the SR60i was discontinued, thought it was the SR60e now. I doubt these will ever ship. Thanks though, I placed an order just for kicks...never owned Grados and I've always wanted some.

Don't see Grados on sale very often.
Edit: To add to b-randoms post... I don't think these will ship either being that Amazon doesn't currently have stock. Unless their distributor has some left, as I don't think they still make these either.

Whoa. I have a pair of these that I bought in the mid-90s for something like a 100 bucks. I had them cleaned and re-cabled at the factory a few years ago. Still love them!

I just repaired the SR60's I bought 9 years ago. They are by far my favorite headphones I've ever owned. I was actually thinking this morning about buying another set. Now maybe I will...

This is a hot deal! But something in me dislikes paying for this version given the e is out.

Have these just been sitting in a warehouse? I don't believe they are manufactured anymore.

what happened to them? mine broke a couple years back (I think no sound out of one side) and I've kept them just in case I can fix them. loved them.

Maybe, but sold by and ships from Amazon.com seems ok.

SR60e vs SR60i - any real difference?

**edit**

I've sort of wanted a pair of Grado's for 20 years but never pulled the trigger - everyone always loved them. I have a lot of headphones I don't use though, planar and otherwise.
I ordered and cancelled within 2 minutes realizing this is a completely frivolous purchase for me. decent price though.

Grado headphones are real crap. The driver is basically a treble speaker. You won't hear any base. Your ears will start to ache within no time.
