Was just about to post this deal myself. I'm on the fence purchasing it. $400 for all that, granted only 1080p, seems like a great deal. Still rocking a 770GTX so this shouldn't effect performance too much. Tom's hardware put a review up over a year ago saying the eye tracking was pretty good, but no idea if it has been kept up to date with current games. https://www.tomshardware.com/revi...,5104.html

I think most G-Sync monitors do.

I'm not too familiar with monitors... I'm coming from a 1920x1080 27" 60hz monitor. Honestly I think it's great but there is definitely screen tearing. Everything I've seen for G Sync has been crazy prices. This almost seems too good to be true or am I missing something? I don't think I care for 4K as this will future proof my video card much longer.

1060 you're looking at 1080p 60 FPS, depending on CPU, game, and settings

Right now I have a 960. I am going to upgrade but want to wait a bit longer to see how the RTX line pans out.

I started my PC life with 60Hz monitors, then first used LG flatron with 75Hz refresh rate. It worked as 75Hz even with desktop applications, not necessarily games. such a big difference when it comes to how relaxed my eyes felt when compared to the 60Hz. I never went back to 60Hz.
With this monitor, make sure your PC supports DisplayPort to avoid the 60Hz rate.

I'm sure the refresh will make world of a difference. I guess my concern is more about the Acer panel itself. I have IPS ASUS now and to me it looks bright, vivid, and uniform. At work we have some old Samsung's that look dull and blotchy (brighter spots in certain areas)

I have two of the Predator 28" 4K Gsync monitors with TN panels, and they are a HUGE step down in color accuracy performance from my last IPS monitor. I knew TN would be a step back but if you are picky, you won't be happy. Even after I calibrated them, they still looked dull. I am looking to find a replacement at some point. That said, they perform well otherwise.

See if you can experience the monitor at a local store, if not try to get a sense of picture brightness from online video reviews: https://www.youtube.com/results?s...ator+Z1+30
Even better if an owner here chime in about the quality.

Heads up, it's a TN so the colors are a little washed out and the viewing angles are terrible compared to IPS
