These are very highly rated oil filters with semi-synthetic filter media. Some are Subscribe&Save eligible (most are not). Example of prices:
Purolator PL14476 $3.97AC minus S&S discount.
Purolator PL14612 $3.75 AC.
Purolator PL14610 for Honda vehicles is not S&S eligible, price is $4.69 AC add-on item.

Just a FYI Purolator filters are known to tear so they do not filter. When informed of it they play dumb and then ignore. This has been going on for years and no fix has been reported.

You will NEVER and I do mean NEVER find 2 mechanics or consumers that agree on any automotive maintenance/repair product. I have 20 years repairing daily drivers and only about 6 years racing experience.

Until you find the person with the time, money, and resources to do an honest unbiased comparison strictly for gain of knowledge its a waste of time comparing opinions or parts.

People have brought me ebay ball joints that are still rolling 5 years later. Some people have brought me Moog tie rods that didn't last a month.

One thing is for certain. Everyone is trying to sell you something to make a profit. No one wants to sell you something that will last forever. All guarantees in the auto world are ymmv.

These are great filters. I've been using them for years on my 1994 Ford Explorer and my wife's 2010 Honda Accord. They used to be called Purolator PureOne filters. The name changed, but they are still very highly rated.

I stopped using these a few years ago after reports on bitog started popping up of failures. I don't recall exactly what, maybe can failure, or the ADBV, seals, something. Does anyone remember this and have the problems been corrected? I've been using Fram Ultras since.

holy cow $11 for my wife's Camry

pro-tip buy your filters at your local dealership when they have special. I stocked up @ $4 for OEM

pro-tip #2 - figure out which Toyota model shares the same filter as your Lexus, buy from Toyota dealership and get OEM oil filter for your Lexus for $4! ('10 Tundra uses the same filter as my GS350)

$7 for the version that fits my car. Basically the same price as going to an auto store. Not only that but I'm not finding good things written about Purolator filters. Lots of forum posts about filters with holes in the filter media. Seems like they might have changed things, but the model numbers are the same, so IDK.
