NOTE: I understand that this is expensive RAM, and most people do not need this much RAM, but for those who have been wanting/watching this, I believe this is the cheapest it has been in a long while (without discount codes).

For those less interested in raw performance numbers, but still wanting a 32GB kit of this RGB goodness, Newegg also has these two kits on sale.

32GB (2x16) G.SKILL TridentZ RGB DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) CAS 16 Desktop Memory (F4-3200C16D-32GTZR) - $279.99 + Free Shipping @Newegg.com

NOTE: The "X" at the end of the TridentZ RGB model numbers indicate that it is optimized for AMD Ryzen platforms. So I guess you are paying $20 for hopefully guaranteed compatibility with your Ryzen build.

I kind of just want to go yolo and do 32gb of ram, my Sandy Bridge i7 with 8gb DDR3 just isn't cutting it anymore with about 40+ Chrome tabs opened :/

Couple chrome tabs, Android Studio, and a Plex server and you can kiss the first 16GB away. Just upgraded to 32G, really only need 24, but I'm dual channel.

This ram is really good if you got the money to waste, NAND price has crashed significantly and DRAM is just starting to fall so if you can wait, you can get this for much lower next year

True

nobody needs 32GB
Negative, Ghost Rider. Why would you generalize this much? There are plenty of applications where someone would benefit from 32GB. Video editing use being one of them. Only the Sith deal in absolutes.

and this is not the cheapest. laugh out loud
Link or it didn't happen. How about you cite when it was cheaper and leave the laughing emoji out if you're making wild claims.

Glad I lucked out last year Spring buying 2x 16gb around $100 each from Staples. Too bad Staples is not the go to place to price match tech now.

I have 32gb ram, when I render video edits, I end up with 12gb unused. And that's with nothing else open.

Hah, yep. I do 3D modeling/rendering and I'm hoping for a deal on 64GB to go with my 2990WX.
