If you haven't played it yet, Guacamelee is by far my favorite game on the list.

And the sequel hits the Switch in December.

How have we made it this long without 20 posts talking about how terrible Nintendo is and how the eshop is as bad as steam, etc. I guess the trolls are still in school?

I highly recommend looking into darkest dungeon.

Waiting for "Into the Breach" to go on sale... I already bought it on PC, but would love to double dip. That game is perfect for mobile devices.

For people who care about physical cartridges, there is a physical "Ancestral Edition" that includes the regular game along with Crimson Court and Shield Breaker.

What's good for a 9 year old boy? He's extremely smart and mature (academically). He's into all the Mario stuff, Fortnite, Roblox, Minecraft. I recently got him Zelda which he loves.

Not Fortnite. Seriously, save yourself that headache. I had to delete my 12 year old's account. Too addictive and destructive.

These sales are really just teasers for the "good" games, though. Guacamelee is like 10% off. Even something like Mulaka is only about 20%.

Monster Energy Supercross, in contrast, is 50% off. Slain: Back from Hell is 70% off.

Many of the steep discounted games have wildly inflated "regular" prices and show up on these lists of sales all the time.

I'll take a fantastic game at 10-20% off over a mediocre one for 50% off.

You're right about that. That was kind of my point. The 50%+ off games usually aren't worth the download - even if they're $2.

What I meant was that if you want to buy Guacamelee and you miss this sale, don't worry about it - it's $1.50. And don't wait around for months for a good game to go on sale because it likely won't be more than 10-20% off.
