Editor's Notes & Price Research

  • The CC-60S is an entry-level Classic Design model, and features mahogany back and sides and a rosewood fretboard. The concert-sized body provides intimate, well-balanced tone and a more comfortable feel for smaller-framed players.
  • Coupon code is limit 1 use per customer and is valid through October 26, 2018 until 8AM PST or while supplies last(full terms and conditions).

Fantastic price. IDC about all of the ridiculous posting rules (which is why I never do) but this is a $200 guitar all day. Fantastic for a beginner, I've had mine for quite some time now and if you prefer a modern sound it can'tbe beat in the price category. Concert size or 000 size is a slightly smaller body than the similar CD-60S that was FP Tuesday. Solid Spruce top also.
All other color are still the regular $199.

Can someone please recommend where a 30 year old can learn how to play guitar without stressing out.. asking for a friend

Rocksmith FTW! But seriously, it does help you learn because you're actually playing a real instrument while you're gaming. Get the 2014 Remastered Edition, because they took care of most of the lag. Or just get an Epiphone Lester and there's no lag. And youtube has plenty of tutorials not only for beginning learning, but to learn complete songs. Fender Play is suppose to be an excellent instructional site, and you get 3 months FOR FREEEEEE! if you buy this guitar or almost any Fender guitar it seems.

Nope. This price is near the cheap no-name brands. Cheaper guitars have sh*tty action that is too high and very difficult to play on. You are almost certain to conclude that it isn't for you with such a thing. A better bet is to get something decent and put it on Craigslist once you figure out it isn't your thing.

Edit: on second thought, those type guitars with terrible action are oftentimes given away for free. You can probably find something like that.

Heads up that it's the same price on eBay, where you can use up your eBay Bucks (and earn more)

How's this compare to the Fender CD 60-S that was on sale at Adorama?

Why would the brand of guitar change lag? I play multiple Epis, a Gibson, 2 Deans and a Squier with equal results.

I learned on a Rogue guitar in thjnk they go as low as $50 new so could be cheaper locally used . I found them easier to play than other "cheap" guitars which make them a bit less frustrating.
