I wish someone made a generic for Xyzal. For me, this stuff works better than Zyrtec. I used Zytec for years, but I think my body became immune to it.

Xyzal (levocetirizine) came out years ago after its parent drug, Zyrtec (cetirizine), became over the counter as well. Xyzal is an L-isomer of its parent drug Zyrtec and it was promoted by UCB as having less side effects than Zyrtec. ... But Xyzal and Zyrtec both have the same active ingredient.

i'll chime in before someone else says it. equate is the same as all the other brands. equate figured out whatever everyone else is using and they simply used the same....except cheaper. otherwise, no difference. lol lol /s/s/s/s/s

i mean, after all, the ingredients are listed right there on the label...never mind the process. a high schooler in chemistry can combine this and make this stuff all day long, it's not rocket science. all the same just a different label and a lower price. lol lol /s/s/s/s/s/s
Pretty sure by law they have to be the same, especially if they use the "Compare to XXXXX" that everyone uses.

We got the Goodsense brand on Amazon, $16 for 365 pills. Excellent stuff, works great for 1/15 the price or Zyrtec (or less).

I believe 365 pills are $14 at Costco. Maybe even $11 on sale.
