I bought the curved one last time someone posted on Slickdeals. Got the delivery three days ago. Turned it on and all is good. The kids are even impressed. A great TV at a greater price!

Not sure how great an XBox video card is at 4k. This TV is 65" 4K with 4000R curvature at 60Hz.

So if you sit about 12 feet away, it's curve is perfectly focused on you. And if the xbox can't break 60 fps at 4k anyways, then any faster Hz might not make much difference anyways.

65" is also more than 55", which means it's larger. So there's that too. Smilie

I'm holding out for a cheap 4k with a much lower "R" curvature. This is ~12 foot focal point. I want a 4k monitor so waiting for the day they make tight R curved ones for sitting a few feet away vs a few meters. (even if in the 40" range)

We are already beyond the curve?....I fell for the 3D experience about 10 years ago, hook line and sinker...glad I missed out on the curve! Cool

Curved is better in some situations.

Like I said, I want to use it as a computer monitor, so I need it curved, with me sitting at the center point of the radius, otherwise the image is viewed at an angle. But a curved radius of a few feet is needed, and the radius at a few meters is not significant enough for my taste.
