Bought this at B&H maybe a month ago for the second price with no tax. Use it for storage on my Plex server. From what I remember GameStop had a 4tb drive for $72. I don't know of they are the same. It was for sale right after I got mine from B&H.

Good deal though if you need the storage right now.

No the gamestop deal was the Elements version, the only difference appears to be firmware related in that these don't have hardware locking. I dunno if it's still true but if they still shuck out to WD reds they're a good deal at this price stil. Edit: users as recently as a month ago still report reds in these, in for one since the game stop drive is probably going in the safe or a custom NAS box later if I determine it's a good drive inside. Also having a 20 dollar RZ certificate doesn't hurt.

To save my marriage, I hope that they don't go on sale soon. My wife was "thrilled" for me to buy 30 of these since last Black Friday.....

The easiest way if your router supports it, is to hook it up directly to your router and make it a network share on there. Any newer router usually has at least one USB port for network storage. Might not be the fastest transfer rate depending on your router but should be pretty sufficient if your not in a extreme hurry.

As for this deal pretty solid but I started using 8TB drives so I cant go back down now.
