G3 is only $99.99, if you don't like the G1+, TBH I'm not sure which one is better. G3 has slightly better results from independent PSU reviewers, but G3 has more negative reviews on Newegg, but mostly just about the noise. G1+ is also much newer, so it hasn't had as much time to garner negative reviews, but at least it doesn't seem to have much problems initially.

You know what's my guess, they might be releasing new batch of models that's the reason they selling these PSU on deals from past few months or to clear stock before year end.

G1+ is fsp sourced. They shoulda called it the GQ+. But GQ are not as good quality. I just had one fail.

I got the 500W EVGA from amazon deal last week for $17. Is that good enough for Ryzen 5 2600 build?

The nice thing about PSU's is that if you buy a 1000w and you only need 500w, then you only use 500w. So to some degree it's a great way to future-proof your purchase, especially when you can get a 1000w PSU for the price of a 650.

Anyways, thanks OP...I snagged one.
