This is the Amazon ASIN: B06XKV4CJP for reference; $99.99 seems to be everyday price at several stores.

BBB has it on sale for $103.99 - not sure if 20% off coupon can be used; if so, it's $83.20 AC

Just an FYI, this is the version for older Vitamix blenders and will NOT work with Ascent series blenders. Those cups have a different (smaller) base.

Anyone just cut away the larger bowl portion? It doesn't seem to serve a function. From reviews there seems likes there's holes at bottom of it so if the cup leaks it just goes straight through all over base. Also it gets in way of cleaning the threads where food particles collect. Is blend/blade quality comparable to the larger containers?

Thanks! I didn't realize this. I got in on the Ascent deal at Target.

$80 for the privilege of not having to pour into another cup? You still have to wash the blender portion anyway. Not for me I guess.

I bought this last year and returned after a month. I did not like the system. It shakes sometimes and creates a vacuum when opening if you are ready for work could be a bad thing to open it.

Why couldn't they have made the cups have the same base as the Vitamix, even if it were a larger base...Doesn't matter, you'd still have to swap it for a drink lid anyway. All that work...and when I saw it work at Costco, even the sales rep had a problem getting the base to lock properly. Pass.
