Wonder if this was designed with mining in mind? It may be fine if the miner undervolted it.

This is N O T a slickdeal.
These coolers are the worst EVER. Read the comments they run to hot.
Thumbs down. THIS card at 150 would still be a bad deal.
This product is a 580 8gb and tries to keep the other 580 cards in that price category.

IF you had a H2O block already, MAYBE I would consider it.. but I wouldn't because to SELL this card when I'm done I would get 20 bucks for it used. All because of this cooler.
A reason to buy this is that it's a bit cheaper than the other models and adding an aftermarket cooler is my eventual plan, like a waterblock. If you buy a card with a better air cooler, you will not find a compatible water block. Sure some nvidia cards use reference boards and non reference coolers, but that is not usually the case with AMD cards.
The other very relevant point of this card is a small form factor case that doesn't work well with bigger coolers as the air tends to recycle rather than be pushed out..
If you have a big full tower with great airflow and you only intend to use a single card with no plans to eventually have a custom watercooling loop, then maybe this isn't the card for you.
