I went to reload my AT&T Prepaid account online at Walmart.com and saw an $80 AT&T Prepaid Card is on sale for 22% off making it only $62.40. I browsed around and only the $80 value card seems to have the discount. I hope I'm posting this right for anyone who would like to use it ! I've been a long time member thankful for everyone's tips and tricks but this is my first time trying to share a deal hope it's useful !

Got two gift cards for 126.30. so 1.5$ tax. I used a random address of a hotel in Corvallis, Oregon. 03222 to get least tax. It worked..payed using PayPal

I buy these cards online at Target and never pay tax.

You will still be good a long as you still have auto pay setup 1st, then add the card to your account balance.
It will just pull from this balance before charging your auto pay linked account. Remember this balance
will expire in 90 days unless you add another card before that to boost the balance expiration clock.
Depending on when you plan renews and how may of these you buy. Be mindful you do not let any of
the balance expire.

I don't know I buy them every month either online or in store and there's always tax on it.

I buy this exact type of card every month to reload my AT&T Prepaid phone plan which was formerly called AT&T GO Phone.

I'm not crazy about the $6.33 "taxes and fees" tacked onto it at checkout. Never any taxes or fees when buying from CallingMart. But still a good discount and TU.

This is news to me. I wouldn't think you'll be taxed on GC's. You'll be taxed again when you use GC to purchase...there should be laws against this practice.

In any case, thanks OP.

These airtime cards aren't really gift cards.

I live in PA and I've been doing AT&T Prepaid/GoPhone for a little over two years now. I've paid for service directly on the AT&T website, CVS, in store, Walmart both in store/online and in random gas stations/convenience marts in the state and I'm always charged regular 6% PA State Sales tax on the card denomination and a flat $1.65 e-911 surcharge on every card. Maybe it varies state to state ? I'm jealous lol I wish my cards were always just the face value amount!

Try buying from Target online, not in-store. It's tax free in many states.

Switch to cheaper options. I pay 63 for 3 months at Mint Mobile.
