Ratchet straps from Harbor Frieght also work well at 10% the cost.

You take them down to the river and beat them against the rocks. Then you catch a fish and use the fish teeth to scrape off anything that didn't come clean while you were beating the blankets against the rocks. Use a different fish for each blanket though, or you'll get cross-contamination.

48" x 74" 15lbs is $90 at Costco right now, 20lbs for $100. Op might be a better deal, depending on the weight you're looking for

Good for anxiety and getting a sound sleep. That said, don't know how good this particular model is. Most decent quality are over $100 for this size.

12 lbs is OK - most weighted blankets run 15-20lbs for that size.

Any legit reviews on these? I've been in the market for a weighted blanket but don't want to spend an arm and a leg

Seconded. Never would have thought they'd carry something like this. Looks like a great blanket for the price.

Brookstone makes great blankets, I have the one that has a pocket along the bottom for your feet and use it every night.

We bought this same one from the local Brookstone store when they were going out of business. I thought they were a sham but the clearance price of $40 convinced me it was worth a shot. They had them on sale in the store at 2 for $70 or 1 for $40.

My wife and daughters love this blanket. I wish now that I had bought 2 when I was in the store but I was very skeptical about them. It's a great blanket and plenty heavy. I haven't tried washing it in any way yet.

I cannot stand heavy blankets on me. What is the purpose of this?

Never mind, here is the theory behind it:

Item Description:

Designed to help lower stress and anxiety, and promote relaxation.

Based on the scientific principle of pressure simulation.

Personally, I feel the exact opposite when a heavy blanket is on me.

How hot does this blanket keep you? I'm trying to find one that can be used all year in a pretty warm climate.
