You can purchase directly from Dyson.com for same price + free shipping, that also grants you 3 free tools to choose from.
Dyson support says it does come with a Hepa filter, yet their website listing does not list Hepa.
~20 minute battery with a motorized head/standard head. You get a few more minutes with the fluffy head other users have reported.
Replacement Hepa filters are $22.99 from Dyson directly

idk where the previous thread on this went, but here's some notes

No fluffy head is included in the Animal nor Motorhead versions, which means it won't clean a hard floor as well as a fluffy. If most your house is hard flooring, please consider highly a fluffy head vacuum or a Shark with its duoclean.

Fluffy heads separately are about 100$ off eBay

Battery life is about 20 minutes with the standard head or other motorized head.

For comparison see attachment with other Dysons.

You can order from Dyson directly (same price+free shipping) for 3 free tools in addition to the 6 tools.(no fluffy head for free though ) https://www.dyson.com/sticks/dyso...nimal.html
Dyson doesn't directly say the V7 Animal has a Hepa filter or not, so I'm assuming no? Just a "Lifetime washable filter" Edit: contacted Dyson and they said the Animal does have Hepa, it's just a version of the Hepa V7 with additional tools and therefore has Hepa as well.

Niether does the aforementioned Shark IF251 (Ionflex duoclean).

It's good enough for basic rugs, it won't reach deep in shaggy carpeting, that's what your old corded Bessy is for once in a while.
Me personally, I'm banking on a v8 or v10 deal for black friday. Also the Shark ion P50 is a worthy contender too on a deal. All have Hepa.

I chatted with Nia from Dyson, she's very helpful and responsive, I recommend asking for her if you need to contact Dyson through email or live chat.

The Shark IF251 is a better vacuum for cheaper.

I pulled the trigger on a V7 Animal.

Note that if you want the soft roller (fluffy) head, you can get the V7 Absolute for $90 more ($329) on Dyson.com with the same bonus three free tools. As far as I can tell, it's the same bundle as the Animal but with the soft roller head included.

In for 1 direct from Dyson.

Probably should change the description to include the Dyson.com + three tools option.

I find this vacuum works great on thicker carpets and I have a dog who sheds a lot.
If you have a V6, this is far quieter and easier to empty.

Thanks, I have a V6 and was wondering that. We have not pets, but find it helpful for quick cleaning in our full hardwood floored house.

The previous Newegg refurb deal on the V7 animal stated that it does have a HEPA filter

I haven't seen a store listing yet where they explicitly say it includes a Hepa filter, I'll try emailing Dyson today and see what they say.

edit: they got back to me and said the "animal v7 does have hepa"... It's confusing because they have a seperate v7 that's listed as "Hepa V7" so it may make you think the Animal V7 does not have hepa, but it do. I give dyson's marketing team a fat 0, but I guess it does have hepa and will edit my post.
How hard is it for Dyson to put the word Hepa on their v7 Animal listings.

I paid just as much for a refurb V8 Animal. I would suggest going this way if available, vs a new V7.
