Oh great, shilled Chinese beard oil now. They are branching out. laugh out loud

"Did your long beard troubles you?"

"To maintain masculinity, we designed the QQwow beard set to use it to moisturize your facial hair, maintain your temperament, and make your beard look thicker and more chronic." Confused

I have tried many many beard products over the last year and a half, mainly all from the discounted review site. I did not like most of them as they are too greasy or crusty. But products from "Beard Guys" are top quality. I have tried everything they sell and it just works great. Dont fall for the gimmick where all these companies sell beard shampoo and conditioner or beard growth tablets.

I've bought this, and am coming to the end of the beard balm, can't speak too much on the oil as I haven't used it much but balm smells great and does well at keeping my skin and hair moisturized. It's one of the few balms that my wife actually enjoys the smell of. Not offensive at all, has a baby powederish scent. I'm buying again.

A lot of reviews say the oil and balm smell bad. Don't buy this unless you want to be a stinky face
Mountaineer brand is pretty good...pricier but their stuff is great. I really like their beard oils

I don't see it from my first hand experience with the balm. Unless you find baby powder offensive. There's no strange chemical smell or anything. The oil isn't my favorite but it's not terrible. I just bought this kit again for the balm alone

So everything's a mystery on Amazon by your logic.

Yes and no- the cost of finding out that Chinese beard oil is a bad idea is greater than the cost of just about any other product. I'm fine with buying a cheap Chinese usb fan because little can go wrong there. A fluid I run on my face? Even if it is fine, the amount that I save buying from some Chinese no-name brand is less than the risk I pay that something goes wrong.

In another sense, the incentives for these fake Chinese brands on amazon to tell the truth is significantly lower than for a legitimate and established corporation. Amazon reviews are easy to manipulate, as is well known on this site. In addition, there is essentially zero cost for these firms in simply releasing the same bad product under a different name if people catch on that their product doesn't work/is actually toxic. While anyone can lie on amazon, the risks of doing so are substantially lower in cases like this product - so as a consumer, it's rational for me to be more suspicious of claims made by this seller than of claims made by a seller with an established brand/one sold in brick and mortar stores.

Not sure why this is difficult to understand, really.
