Do you have prepaid service? If not, they are of no use to you.

you still better off buying them on ebay, since retail charges sales tax.so even after 5% off Target is more expensive. It is very common to find them on ebay at discount already comparing to face value.
Target does not charge tax

No tax for me when buying from Target online. There is tax in store. Not sure why, maybe something to do with my state.

Plus, I get another 5% off buying with red card, and don't have to deal with any ebay shadiness.

For AT&T prepaid, Walmart could be a better deal depending on the tax you have to pay.

I think that was "buy 1, get 1 at 10% OFF" [Edit, I am wrong.. it was better] -- I remember buying 2 this year -- it was probably that sale. ...(deleted;see below).

[Update: Just checked my history and it was a better deal in April. Not sure what was in May. But you're right there are sometimes better deals so this might be a buy-if-you-need-it-now deal. In April it was "Buy 1 get 1 20% off" -- and that does come out to 10% applied to each if you buy 2 equal-value cards. So today's deal isn't as good, but better-than-nuttin' if you need airtime now]

Hey Sierra, love your shares. My tmobile plan is pay as you go, so no contract. I top up my account regularly from my credit card unless I can get these discounted gift cards. 5% is better than nothing, but sometimes the deals go up to 10%.
