Product Overview
In competitive gaming, every frame matters. Introducing Acer's VG270 gaming monitor - the Full HD resolution monitor that can keep up with your game play. Through AMD Radeon technology, the game's frame rate is determined by your graphics card, not the fixed refresh rate of the monitor, giving you a serious competitive edge. Plus, users can enjoy comfortable viewing experience while gaming via flicker-less, low dimming and ComfyView display. The design saves space on your desk and lets you place multiple monitors side by side to build a seamless big-screen display.

Quality Visuals
The VG270 27" monitor with 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution in a 16:9 aspect ratio presents stunning, high quality images with excellent detail. The zero-frame design does away with the thick frames found on conventional monitors freeing up precious screen space so you have more to look at from edge to edge.

AMD Radeon FreeSync Technology - 75Hz Refresh Rate
Say "goodbye" to stuttering and tearing. With AMD RADEON FREESYNC, the monitor's frames are synced with the graphics card's frames, which eliminates screen tearing and provide the smoothest gaming experience.

Stunning Images from Any Angle
Advanced liquid crystal formula for advanced IPS technology for premium color performance, which has no color difference at any viewing angle.

Fast-paced Frames
Fast response time of 1ms enhanced gamers' in-game experience. No matter the fast-moving action or any dramatic transitions will be all rendered smoothly without the annoying effects of smearing or ghosting.

Game View Technology
Acer Game Mode has eight pre-set display modes to optimize the visuals for different types of content: Action, Racing, Sport, User, Standard, ECO, Graphic and Movie. This unique feature can be easily accessed through a hotkey or the On Screen Display (OSD) settings menu.

Impactful Sound
What you hear is just as good as what you see with the power of the dual two-watt built-in speaker system.

Got one of these in August and just picked up another. It was already a good deal before the $40 discount IMO! Recommended.

Looks like from the pictures it is VESA compatible but no mention in the specs which is concerning.

I'm very tempted to get this and pair it with the MSI GL63 that I got for my son's Christmas gift...

Does anyone have a good rule of thumb or guideline on how far to sit back from this in order to maximize the presentation and minimize seeing any pixelation?

I bought this a few weeks ago to tide me over until Black Friday sales (+1 for Costco's 90 day return policy).

I really like it, I have it next to my 1440p Freesync IPS Acer and they both look good (other than the lower resolution of the VG270).

I take advantage of the lower resolution to play games that would otherwise be too low of an FPS with my RX480 and am also planning to pick up a PS4 Pro during BF to hook up to it.

At this price, unless something really blows me away during BF, I think I might just keep it.

Yes. Any monitor will work on any GPU, the only thing you are missing is the Freesync, so you are basically stuck with its native Hz
