there are only 2 battery mfg in the USA, so yes, these will be same as the insignia battery with different brand slap on.

quality will be the same

With the myriad of kids toys and gadgets we have we're going with disposable batteries. That said, we do have some rechargeable AAA batteries but they're in permanent items that won't get lost or put in the donation pile by accident.
