Must select 5 Gallon

Eagle 5 gallon Type I red safety cans (UI50FS) are constructed of 24-gauge hot dipped galvanized steel, are the only deep drawn seamless can made, have a double interlock no-weld bottom seam, a baked on powder coat finish with a trilingual label, have a spring closing lid with neoprene gasket that vents at 5 psi internal pressure, have a non-sparking flame arrestor and pour spout and are 100 percent made in the USA.

I have one and dont know what's good about it. It's heavy, compared with the plastic, the funnel never seems to seal well with leakage, and it rusts. Tell me what's good about that?? I only carry plastic now and I keep my fuels indoors and they have not leaked on me yet. I have five plastic compared to this one metal one. Got it during hurricane Sandy and paid thru the nose for it. Never have I used it again.

the yellow spout doesn't always seal onto the can, and while pouring the gas sometimes trickles down the neck. just a FYI. i added a smidgen of plumbers grease, not enough so the spout slides right off but enough to provide a good enough seal

to be straight up honest, these are more of a PITA than they are worth. they are awkward to pour from, bulky, and as i mentioned above the spout can leak. i have 1 of these and it just sits in the corner b/c i dread using it. i cycle gas through it like the other cans though

IMO unless you need the durability of a metal can, most are better off going with a plastic one with a VENTED SPOUT. if the spout isn't vented, install a nipple on the top back of the can so when you use that stupid no-spill EPA mandated shit spout, it doesn't spit all over the place and just pours out gracefully

Lowest per the camel. In for 1.
Never use ethanol in any small engine... never. I've rebuilt every carb i have, from outboards to gas blowers and since I switched to premium without ethanol I've had zero issues.

I purchased the same gas container like 3 years ago. Awesome item. Make sure you only hold what gas you need. Additionally, if using this container for lawn tools mix some Stabil with premium gas.

Have these as well, work perfect and you don't have to worry about dripping all over like those crummy plastic jugs. Paid $50 each at the time, so great deal.

Same story here - mine has sat out in the weather (the funnel I store inside the garage) and it's still holding up fine. I think it was a AWD for around $20.

It's so nice to not have plastic gas containers that swell, bleach and eventually crack any longer.

Best gas can. Way better than those plastic cans and their twist spouts.

This is $43 at Lowe's everyday. $66 is a bit exaggerated.

This is a very good quality can and at a great price. I have two that are about 4 years old and they are holding up great and are easy to use.

Stabil because of ethanol?
From google:
This stabilizes all types of gasoline, provides metal corrosion protection from ethanol sulfate salts in today's fuel and provides advanced metal protection for future E15 fuel. The alcohol-free formula is touted to lock in fuel potency and help prevent fuel oxidation, phase separation and gum and varnish buildup.

Have the 2.5 gallon version, which I find plenty big. If you are just using this for the lawn mower, highly recommend a smaller size. Would take months to go through 5 gallons, not ideal for gas to sit around in a container that long. Plus heavy and awkward to pour when full.
