Pretty good deal on some new items from NPS '18. I've got the new circular saw and table saw and love them both. The power is incredible. Battery takes like 2 hours to charge though and gets really hot.

Picked up a few M18 Fuel tools the other day (flood light, sawzall, leaf blower) and was surprised in the charge time on a 5 amp battery. On one of the dual chargers it must have taken 90 minutes.

Definitely not the 30 minutes use / 30 minutes charge I am accustomed to from my Greenworks. More like 15 to E and 90 back Full.

That said, I may be buying the saw for the new batteries. Although, expires end of January makes it seems like not a deal at all.

I love my Milwaukee drill & driver, but this doesn't seem like a good deal.
Unless you need a really small/tight package, you'd be better off buying an AC saw for $275 and put the remaining money towards a battery inverter that could run nearly anything. If you're moving around 100s of lbs of tools and tons of lumber, another 5 lbs won't make a difference.
If you want the batteries for the chainsaw or another tool, then I guess it's decent.

CAUTION: Careful with getting batteries too hot on fast chargers. (heat is what kills batteries). The new rapid chargers heat up the larger xc4.0/5.0 and larger batteries to a level I don't feel comfortable with. The lower the discharge, the longer it sits on the charger and the longer it has to heat up. I typically only fast charge my xc3.0 and smaller batteries on the rapid chargers or if the larger batteries aren't fully discharged (more than half still there). I can't imagine the slight increase of surface area for heat dissipation can be offset by the doubling or tripling of energy requirements by these huge batteries.

If you're on the job or have a crew and need it charged fast, you probably have no choice, but for home/occasional use, charge em slow especially with these very expensive batteries.

Also available on Acme Tools no Tax and Freeshipping.

https://www.acmetools.com/shop/to...-table-saw

This is also on CPO Tools. It seems to be a national Milwaukee deal.

This is the best Battery Powered saw. Comparing to the dewalt, the main difference is the dewalt also has a cord option. But when you plug it in, the motor makes an odd noise that's noted in all the reviews. I hate being reliant on power outlets, especially at customer sites. I love the battery option.

The blade adjustment takes fewer rotations on the Milwaukee vs. a dewalt. Not a big deal if you're a weekend DIYer but huge if you're making many and varied cuts.

Just a tip from someone who has upgraded his tools several times and wishes he did more research earlier on... this is a battery powered job site saw. Jobsite saws have the benefit of being portable, but they lack the power and accuracy of something like a cabinet table saw. In addition, this is an 8-1/4" blade saw, not the standard 10". You are also limited to battery power, there's no 120V AC adapter like, for example, the Dewalt 12" Flexvolt sliding meter saw has.

So in the end, this is a great saw if you prioritize portability and working where there is no power. If you have power available, get a 120V 10" saw. If you have more space and don't need portability, check craigslist for a deal on a cabinet miter saw which will make much faster, cleaner, and more accurate cuts.
