Ships and sold from Pixio - Tax might apply depending on state. You could get around this by buying from a site that doesn't charge tax, and then Price Protect using Citi's PP:

27 inch WQHD 2560 x 1440 Bezel-less Gaming Monitor
IPS (AH-VA) Panel
144Hz, Adaptive Sync (40-144Hz), HDR
Flicker Free, 178 Viewing Angle
Displayport, HDMI, DVI
DVI CABLE NOT INCLUDED

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Pr...-_-Product

Free Shipping - This is the new 2018 HDR version of the Pixio PX277.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

I wouldn't recommend this monitor or brand. I bought the new PX277 a little less than a year ago and within a few months, it would randomly flash a blank black screen with the text "DVI mode". I would be playing a game for about an hour and then the random flashes start up. I would later find out the monitor is poorly designed and has an overheating issue. If you look up the Amazon reviews, you would see others having this same issue. Do yourself a favor and avoid Pixio monitors.

I own this, love it. Pretty good price here, in september I got it for 390 from pixio on ebay w/ an extra 2yr warranty (30 extra) by using a 10% off coupon. Best bang for your buck Vsync2 1440p ips monitor, I paired it with a Vega 64 since I didn't have to pay the gsync tax. Really happy gaming on this monitor.

Great monitor, I paid 400 for it and have not been let down at all. If you're in the market for a freesync monitor, give this a shot

Thanks for the input guys. I've been looking for something exactly like this. With it being so close to BF, do you think its worth it at this price to bite the bullet and get this? No idea what deals might be like but definitely looking at getting a monitor like this.

I'm an Nvidia user. Did I recently read you can use gsync with nvidia too? Help me -- I'm stupid. D:

Yes, gsync was made for Nvidia cards. This monitor, however, runs FreeSync, which is the more or less the AMD version of it.

Freesync is from AMD, and is open source. Hence, the monitors are cheaper. There is no incentive for AMD or Nvidia to add this functionality. However, a Reddit user found a workaround. It does require some sort of AMD GPU, whether discrete or APU. Just Google Freesync Nvidia.

Another alternative to this monitor is on Amazon. It's a no-name company, but I gambled on it. It's actually pretty nice, over clocked it to 155Hz. Still available with 20% coupon.

ROCKSOUL RSGM-27M3C QHD 144Hz 27 inch Curved Gaming Monitor 2560x1440 2K Widescreen; Adjustable Stand, 1440P Resolution & FreeSync Samsung VA Panel https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07F411...3BbSMR4X98

That being said, Newegg might have better policies, and you have more people with good experience with the Pixio monitor (or just hate the ugly red junk on the Rocksoul more than I do).

Mbest is 300 and I believe pixel response is better. Would have to see pics to believe HDR actually works (broken at best anyway given actual specs).
