Photography Life concluded this...

"Last, but not least, I want to talk about image quality. As you can see from the previous page of this review, the Sony A7 II falls behind in performance when compared to the Nikon D750 (which sports a similar, Sony-made 24 MP sensor) – its performance is noticeably worse. In fact, cameras like Canon 7D Mark II, Nikon D7100 and Fuji X-T1 seem to perform similarly in comparison, which is rather disappointing. On top of that, Sony crippled the A7 II with the 11+7 bit lossy RAW compression (as detailed on the third page of this review), which only adds to the frustration…"

The question was crop sensor going to full size sensor...do you not understand the conclusion here? Wtf...it says performance is similar or worse to crop sensor cameras like a Nikon d7100...hence going from a crop a6000 sony to this will FF Sony will not yield any noticible improvements in image and performance.

So you quote this article comparing a nikon when the question was about a sony a6000?

https://www.dpreview.com/reviews/...ha-7-ii/12

Also the nikon is not $1000 inc lens

I made the same switch (paid $1500 for mine). Definitely worth it at this price.

The one thing that's a downgrade is the burst rate. You'll go from 10 fps with the a6000 to 5 fps with the a7 II. If you're shooting fast action, stick with the a6000.

Everything else is a significant upgrade. Low light performance, shallower depth of field, dynamic range.

I recently upgraded from the a7ii to the a7iii but man did I love that camera. Anyone considering moving from APS-C to full frame should jump on this deal, keeping in mind that Black Friday is just around the corner and similar deals are undoubtedly a few weeks away.

What are the significant differences between the ii and iii and is it worth the increase in price?

If he is asking this question, then he does not need full frame and Mark series at all .No offense, but it's
true.

Can it track moving subject well. I am good if it can track with at least center af point as good as canon rebels.
