Yeah Team Group sounds like lesson 4 of a corporate new hire training program. Synergies, everyone.

Read the 1, 2, and even 3 star reviews and you'll talk yourself out of this disaster very quickly. Or skip the research and wait for a better brand to hit this price.

Whoa... what the heck brand is this? How reliable?... I personally don't trust any ssd except Samsung. Had to many failures with weird brands.

Make sure to do a full format, and run some hard drive tests, when you first get one of these, to make sure that you don't get any errors.
Hell, I would also fill it up with some files, and to see if you get any errors. Also to see how slow it gets when its 50% full, 75%, 90%....

I have one 480gb version that still works. I don't trust it tho. Case is too flimsy. Too many fail reviews. But let's admit that these cheap brands are the reason why we can find 500gb samsungs at 70$ mark

and those who aren't lemmings will note those reviews are irrelevant since most refer to their older planar NAND products.

How recently did they change over? I see plenty of low reviews from the last 2 months.
