This is a good price for what you get - I currently have two Corsair units, and they've both been reliable.

At the above price point, it's a hot deal considering a Seasonic (arguably a tiny bit better) is considerably more. This is the until I bought several days ago, just because I wanted variety.

Seasonic makes some of Corsairs ps. This is bronze, that ones gold. Apples to...
They had a gold 650 watt ps for $35 after MIR. Enough for most single GPU systems.

For those wondering 750 watts is enough to push a Threadripper with a RTX2080 ti. So it's plenty extra for the vast majority of gaming rigs here.

This is a great deal. I had this brand works well, Usually can get 600 watt on sales for 40 bucks so this is great if you need a lot of wattage. (heavy OC and 1 or 2 gpu)

I agree with your points. I bought gold intentionally and dont plan to stress it, being that the best efficiency seems to be at the 50% utilized figure, which is what I'm shooting for and typically use (325ish for me).

Alternately, should I never need 700+ watts, I have them available to use.

The price is good but a few things: Its not full modular. Its 34.99 only after a rebate. Its very noisy, according to multiple reviews. Still a good buy (imo) if you need it.

Good deal if you don't mind rebates. Maybe even a *smoking* deal, for 750W and semi-modular?

Anyone have any experience with the "coil whine" that multiple reviews complain about?

This is perfect. I'm building computers for both my boys for Christmas. We're a gaming family. Smilie Now, if I can just get them to stop playing Roblox.

Anyone have any ideas of how to get away with this twice since it's only one per household?
