FYI, it's been sitting at this price on Samsung.com for awhile for student/employer discount. Just checked, it has gone down to $280 (plus tax)

One reason not to, the Best Buy price is roughly the same right now, but if you walk in the store you will see 50 of these 6900s stacked up. It's a pretty clear indication to me that Best Buy plans on this being a door buster.

Pretty outstanding deal. I too wish it were 65". I'd pay $50 more for 65" especially since this is a 4K TV.

Same price at Costco if you're a member. Any idea how this one compares to TCL 55S423 55" Class (54.6" Diag) 4K UHD Roku LED LCD, which is same price at Costco?

Don't know about comparing quality of the two tvs, but the TCL will be $279 starting on Nov 22 at Costco. This TV doesn't show a price change in the Holiday Savings book.

TCL price is great but walking around target yesterday 2 of the TCL TVs had half a black screen where they crapped out. Not saying they all end up like that but definitely kept me away from considering.

Crazy how cheap TV's are getting. I wish 75 inch versions weren't still sky high.

Great price but 2 HDMI ports and the fact that it can't get very bright are not really that appealing. For a bit more, you can probably get a better deal especially around this time of year...

Thanks, one starting on Nov 22 is 50", may be you overlooked this. Couldn't find exact comparison, but may be S423 is identical to S405? https://www.rtings.com/tv/tools/compare/samsung-nu6900-vs-tcl-s405/667/449#usage*4854!threshold*0.1

From the RTINGS review of the S405:

The S405/403/401 are gradually being replaced by the S425/423/421. There are only cosmetic differences between the old and new models.

So rtings said that the 7100 is slightly better for video games due to the input lag. Are there currently any deals on a 50-55" 7100?

Also, what are the differences between the two bestbuy models? BXZA vs FXZA
