A PROMOTIONAL GIFT CARD OFFERED WHEN YOU PURCHASE A PRODUCT WILL BE ISSUED TO YOU 4 DAYS AFTER YOU ARE INVOICED FOR YOUR PURCHASE.

Promotional Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash.

Newegg is under no obligation to restore lost or stolen Promotional Gift Cards.

A Promotional Gift Card cannot be used toward the purchase of a Newegg Gift Card.

Additional credit cannot be added to a Promotional Gift Card after it has been issued by Newegg.

A PROMOTIONAL GIFT CARD EXPIRES ONE (1) YEAR AFTER IT IS ISSUED, UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED.

Honestly I feel this way is better. You do not have to worry about mailing in UPCs or waiting months for your check. The only down side is, you have to invest some money upfront into Newegg and keep rolling them.

I guess this is their replacement for the rebates since the processing company when bankrupt. At least it looks like you don't have to mail anything in or wait months even though it's only at Newegg.

Edit:
The gift cards are emailed 4 days after invoice. Guessing this is so you can't just roll one to keep buying one of each. Hopefully, they have these throughout the holiday season so I can just use the previous ones.

Edit2:
Looks like the limit is 5 each at least for what I got.

In for the usb3 to SATA.

Yes but they will have expiry date forcing you to utilize the gift card asap. Last time I got such card from Best buy with validity of 3 months and I couldn't find an item on deal which I required. Ended up utilizing in expensive hard drive.

It looks like they are 1 year. The rebate cards were only 6 months. Either there will be more deals like this in the next couple of months that I can roll the cards or I can use them for something small in the next year.

Looks like they combine the gift cards when you order. Instead of 3x $10, It's a single $30.

Pretty cool, needed an extra SATA cable so I could repurpose a drive which is on the verge of failure as a seasonal anime drive. Thanks, OP.

The only problem I can see with rolling these gift codes is they might put a limit on how many you can use per order and they also may charge sales tax. tbh adding all this to my cart and paying the sales tax is not worth the actual cost of the items to me. Great post though!

I guess I lucked out as one of the states they don't charge yet. They at least they combine the cards so it's not as bad.

Yep, ditto this. The tax was not worth the value I could potentially get from these. Also, my cart was separating out the gift cards for some reason, not sure how they combined for others? I have been staring at this deal for a few minutes and I think I have decided to walk away, with reservation lol.

Tempting but the fact that you have to pay sales tax now and that they are not money makers kills the deal at least for now
