You might be able to fix that, I had the same issue and took it apart to see since I figured I had nothing to lose. The toothbrush works with an oscillating magnet. The magnet gets too close to the coil and rubs. If I remember correctly you pull the guts of it out, pop off the board and there is an adjustment screw above the magnet. Loosen the screw, then I used a shim made from a credit card to get the spacing and tightened the screw back up. It's been working for over a year that way.

I purchased this one from costco and it broke after few months. The latest version seems stronger and more durable. Anyway the original price looks too high. I would say it should be around $70.

I bought the 2 pack from Costco at least 4 years ago. The 1 st one works and charges, but is VERY week. The second one still works great. Picking this one up as a replacement for the one that died.

It's still a good deal without Kohl's card.

$99.99 - $10 NOVHOME10 - 15% THANKSVETS - $20 rebate = $56.50. Get $10 KC and shipping is free.

Costco usually has a pair on sale for $119.

I needed two. If you buy two in the same order you get $30KC but give up another $10 coupon so I decided to go with two separate orders.

While color also available.

It's very easy. I also did it. You just need to use a nail file or something thin to separate the magnets a little. Ten minutes tops. I wish I could find the webpage for you, but I can't.

So $63, because you'll never get that rebate.
