The Ring 2 and Ring Pro are both upgrades from this version. Both are now 1080p. I'm still trying to figure out the difference between the Ring 2 and Pro, other than, Pro is hardwired, Ring 2 is battery or hardwired. Anyone?

Ring pro is more customizable for field of vision and is closer to the size of a normal doorbell. http://wirelessdoorbellreview.com...-ring-pro/

Pro is much smaller. If you can hard-wire, I'd get the pro. The other versions are just too large IMO.

Ring 2 is battery and hardwire. Can go only battery, or hardwire or you can leave the battery in and have the hardwire keep it charged IF you have the proper voltage.

Ring Pro advantage is that you can create custom motion zones where with Ring or Ring 2 you can only enable/disable the predefined zones.

What do you mean by customizable? I have the Pro and don't know what customizable options are there? Thx in advance.

I still havent lived down the dumb decision I made last year BF of buying a bunch Ring 2 from Lowes for $80 and then changing my mind and returning them later.

I don't own a Ring of any version yet. But you can mess around with the zones the pro "sees". Here is a link to their website about it. https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us...orbell-Pro

This is incorrect. I own both and both RIng 2 and Pro can be hard wired. Which I did with both.

I am sort of interested in these.. Do you need a tablet or smart phone to use this or will a firestick do? possibly a "spot" or "view" is needed? Do you need a subscription? a lot of questions you need the answers to before you choose a a door bell.. ARLO, NEST, or RING , What one is the one you want with the ecosystem you have is the question you need to answer....

I bought a Google Home from Massgenie months ago via Slickdeals and am very happy with my purchase. No issues whatsoever. I assumed it was from Massachusetts (I live in CT), but it shipped from FL.
