some other site said $40

https://toolguyd.com/channellock-...tool-deal/

I updated that post after it was reportedly $30 at some stores. If you see the $40 price online, changing the zip code and selecting different stores can show $30. My guess is that it'll be $30 everywhere by Black Friday.

As for the value of the deal, the 3 pliers can be purchased for as low as $34. So with the deal, you save $4 off that total price, and get the bottle opener as a bonus.

Channellock tools are very rarely discounted, making this a decent deal. It's possible that it will be discounted even lower, but that'd be hard to predict. If I had to guess, I'd say that $30 is as low as it could go.

Nice! So when you give up on your project you can open a Heineken.

I run a small hardware store.
Something has been up with their factory in recent years. Some items are unable to reorder, distributors rumored that they have issues at the plant.

I normally retail the 12" at $20 so this seems like a good deal.

I agree, I bought this set a while ago and the edges cut my fingers. Also, I have a couple pair of needle nose purchased last year that have big gaps in the jaws and or one jaw is larger than the other. At least they are made in America!

It probably just as easy to just use the channel lock pliers to open a bottle, but it's not a good look to keep a pair in your kitchen drawer. 😊
