2 in stock at local walmart per brickseek. Local walmart employee said they had 2 in the back. Then he said: oooh they are on sale. When to "check on the back" and *swoosh* no more roombas in stock magically...

Actually came to this thread to see if this was the deal it appears to be. This thread needs an iRobot to clean up the bickering. 😝

I have this exact one. It's the bare minimum of Roombas that is good. it has the upgraded rollers which are snag-free and more durable. I love it. The rollers are really worth upgrading to the 800 series. I wouldn't go lower. I'd buy used 800 before going lower.

No virtual walls and no app support makes it a no go for me. But great price.

Always forget can I buy at one and then take to another to return and rebuy saying I just need to change the payment type to get the lower price?!?! See a possible 2 in my area but at $350.

you can always use the "I want to change the mode of payment" trick

If you think it's an unethical company, you can choose not to support their business.

Got a question? Call Walmart and find out the easy answer yourself. Moot point to argue here.
I'm not seeing the fraud or unethical side of the argument one bit. If you buy it with one card at store A and return/rebuy with another card at store B, this is only done because Walmart allows for returns from one store to another AND allow you to rebuy on the spot (with a different card or otherwise--moot point). The product wasn't used and was restocked in their system, which technically allows for fair game during that period (say if someone else somehow reserves the item right then and there on phone/online or was somehow 'waitlisted').

You're playing within the rules Walmart implemented and if there were any problems with this course of action, they would let you know or will change their t&c in the future.
