Forgive the ignorance but...
If you put it behind a tv, will it turn on/off with tv or would I have to turn it on/off with my phone. It says it syncs with the sound of the tv. Is there a certain smart tv function you need for this to work? And, I'd have to plug it into a basic outlet right? Or could I power it off the tv?

These are an amazing ripoff. There are many better deals on non-name-brand LED strips, just search Amazon.

I'll wait for the target black Friday deal. Same price with a gift card as well, but will add 5% off with red card

I think the aliexpress variant sortve showed how overpriced they were making these. tbh I've had some issues with the Gledopto though, so at $45 I'd consider this.
What problems have you had with the Gledopto? I was thinking of putting together a DIY strip.

Even with this deal, these are still way over priced.

This would need to be plugged into an outlet, so wouldn't directly sync with a tv. Supposedly you can sync through the app, but my brief attempts didn't work. If you're just looking for static light, better off finding one that'll be cheaper and plug into the tv USB port.

For the people saying they are going to wait for BF...I doubt you'll see a better deal than this for these lights.

Look up Dreamscreen...Price point is obnoxious but looks to be worth it.

Good price for new. I have several and love them. They have worked great for under cabinet lighting. I'm curious if they are trying to drive sales towards their new product (by clearing these out):

Those look really cool!

Seems like a decent deal for the 3 and 4 pack but I dont need the dimmer switch. May wait till BF to see what else comes on sale.
Anyone have experience with the Lightstrip behind a TV? Or is it better to go with two color light bars once the price comes down? Lightstrip seems better for flush wall mount tv.

Turns on randomly at full brightness. Not good when I'm sleeping.
