Quality dropped? I have a pair of X1's, still work amazingly well and hold charge.

Have had a pair of X3's for over 2 years without any single issues. I replace the earbuds out with comply tips every 3 months. Will pick up a second pair as a backup at this price.

For those on the fence about buying these- they will work great at the office or for casual activities, but here's my review after using them at the gym-
after using them now a few times at the gym, I think I'm gonna have to return them. The sound is great if you can get them to fit and stay put. Also, I have to agree with people who say the connection sucks. I wear my phone in an arm band and if I have it on the opposite arm from the bluetooth "receiver" it cuts in and out. I have a pair of over-the-ear headphones that I have no problems with. I really wanted to keep these but there's other options, like Anker.

I don't disagree that's little but wanted to point out that a charge cycle is from empty to full (and there are partial charge cycles). So unless you are depleting the battery every day for 4 months, you won't run out that soon.
I use my headset all day at work, so it's typically a full charge. I get your point, but 120 charges seems pretty low.

Jaybird headphones that have a "lifetime" warranty are BS. They mean the product lifetime, which for them is... ~1 yr. until the new model comes out FFS
I've been using Jaybird for years (started with the Jaybird Freedom) and their warrenty has been top notch! I've sent them back for the inability to hold a charge, stopped working (twice), and everytime they have given me a brand new pair. And in one case upgraded me to a better model because mine was so old they no longer carried it.

This is a great deal, and if I didn't currently have 2 pairs I would buy asap!

Until 2 weeks ago, I would have totally bought these to have an extra pair because I love these so much paired with Complys; but I'm going to wait for the X4s to drop drastically, hopefully by this time next year. I am hoping since those are waterproof that their build quality where the speaker attaches to the earpiece improves. That said if anyone is looking for wireless bluetooth headphones these are amazing. Highly recommend! Also an excellent Xmas present!!

FWIW for those interested in the warranty process, for everyone else TLDR, LOL.

I am a heavy user. I use them for around 8 hours, charge, and use again for another 6 almost daily. I go through Comply tips every 6-8 weeks and do not use the ear fins at all. Maybe all the squeezing or the tightness of the Comply tips on the speakers is what caused the speaker to detach and expose wires, I dunno. That happened 2 weeks ago after owning them since Xmas '17. Never had issues with battery time decreasing. Now the earpiece's speaker has completely detached. I am very careful with them and mostly use them for normal activities (walking, cooking, household chores; no extra strenuous exercise/athletic activity) during the day and for watching TV at night. I was not sure of the warranty procedure, fuzzy on the exact warranty period, and wary that the damage would even be covered. But obtaining warranty service via chat instantly was very easy to do last week (at the time the speaker was still attached by exposed wires and was working), even with a minimal Best Buy gift receipt since they were an Xmas gift. You can stay connected with chat support on their website while you gather the serial number and email them pictures and other info they request. I was expecting to have to mail my damaged pair back, but so such request was made. New pair arrived today. They told me that the new replacements have no warranty, that the warranty continues with original pair - not sure what that means... I interpret it to mean when these go bad that's it? I have since read that people have to cut up the headphones and send a picture of the cut up headphones to obtain warranty service, but they did not ask me to do that. I am planning to use the old ones in one ear in the car since I always had good experience with phone calls and the earpiece on the side of the mic still works as well as the mic....(I prefer them to my bluetooth earpiece for comfort and quality for receiving phone calls in the car). Does anyone know if I cut the cord in half if they will still work?

I see a lot of battery issues with X4. People saying it drastically lowers after a month use.

man i used to want these so bad but not anymore... sad. great deal though!
Ya...they are decent...got mine a while ago....ended up selling them when the left side kicked out. 100 plus isn't worth it, but I would give it a hard look at this price. Still loving my og LG Hbs700 and HBS730.

I find jaybirds uncomfortable when running. I bought a pair of Anker Soundbuds Curve off of Amazon for $20 and I will never pay for another expensive pair of headphones again. The Anker never want to come out, they sound way better then the Jaybirds and I could buy 3 pairs before I even reach this sale price. Also Anker is no questions asked warranty.

I bought a lot of headphones from Jaybird. They sound great, work great... however after a few months of use. They stop charging for some reason(s). I returned one to get it replaced and a few months later, it stopped charging. Not sure why.
I've had the same issues with X2. Eventually only one bud would work. This should've been the price point from the get go. Other great options popping up now, and some completely wireless (unlike these that are attached in-between buds)
