Jaybird headphones that have a "lifetime" warranty are BS. They mean the product lifetime, which for them is... ~1 yr. until the new model comes out FFS

I hate the proprietary charging dongle. You have to carry it everywhere in order to charge it.

Just did a quick search and that really does seem like false advertising. Also started by Jaybird support:

The headset has an average 120-charge cycle, which correlates to 2 years. .

https://support.jaybirdsport.com/...n-lifetime

120 charger cycles seems really low. I tend to charge my headset daily, so that's 4 months of charges.

I bought a lot of headphones from Jaybird. They sound great, work great... however after a few months of use. They stop charging for some reason(s). I returned one to get it replaced and a few months later, it stopped charging. Not sure why.

I love my X3's. I wonder if I should pick up another pair at this price for a replacement set.

Mine barely past 1 year. Left ear stopped working. The charge can barely hold for 2 hours now.

I don't disagree that's little but wanted to point out that a charge cycle is from empty to full (and there are partial charge cycles). So unless you are depleting the battery every day for 4 months, you won't run out that soon.

Crazy to see people with so many issues. I had the x2 and only reason they stopped working was because they got run over. I had them over a year. I now have the x3 and have had them over 6 months. No issues so far. May pick up a back up pair at this price.

The X3s have really good sound quality and is quite comfortable. But as others have already pointed out, these premium earphones wont last you long. The left earphone stopped working after 14 months, 2 months after my warranty expired Frown. I expected more durability from Jaybird's premium line but this was very disappointing. Have nothing against the deal but just wanted to caution people about the durability issues.
