I would only consider the G600 if you only play MMOs and never play FPS. Or if you use software where mouse binds are a timesaver (e.g. engineering students).

The G500 series is a much better overall mouse than something like the G600.

Also, be aware they just came out with a new version of the G502 called the G502 HERO. This isn't that. That one goes for full retail @ $79.

G600 is overkill for most end-users IMO. I did a beta test for it when it first came out, parting gift was the final product and the first thing I did was listed it on Amazon. Hardcore Logitech fan boy but hated the G600, currently using the G400s.

Should check out the G402, sometimes less is more.

The K830 keyboard is such a good deal, but I already have 2 K400+ Frown

I picked up the 502 last Black Friday (or maybe the year before). It's been great. No issues, performs the same as the day I got it.

G600 or Corsair Scimitar? Been waiting for a good MMO mouse.

I currently have the Corsair gaming keyboard so a matching mouse would be nice but I heard G600 is more comfortable. ahh decisions decisions

G502 was $15 new when it first came out (with purchase of a game) but still $35 is not a bad deal.

I've had it since it first came out and still use it. I dont like the plastic that swings out where the thumb goes (I strongly feel I have less control when your thumb cant touch the mousepad if you're gaming, personal opinion ofc) and I hate the wheel compared to a much older gaming mouse by Logitech that felt a lot nicer. Otherwise it's a fantastic mouse and some of the keys are very easy to get to in a split second (the two on the side).. others I never use as they're a lot more awkward to get to.

Depends how you hold it, I go for a grip closer to the hand shake you see with ergonomic mice, so the side of my hand drags, I can already feel the mat plenty that way.

I have a 502 for work and gaming. The extra buttons for copy/paste and undo/redo are awesome. Obviously useful in gaming too. Love the three profiles as well- makes it easy to switch back and forth. Overall a fantastic mouse with good software support.
