Not a bad price with the accessories but not as good as Bestbuy $500 previous price (no time machine but price is always unpredictable). A6000 one of the best affordable mirrorless camera. Even has a better focusing than the A7ii. Canon or Nikon cannot compete at this price point.

I don't think focus camera is an authorized distributer of any camera. They are just the resellers.

I just bought the Canon SL2 as my first camera ever for 600 bucks... should I return for this? It will be used for Youtube tutorials close to a desk showing drawings

This is a great price but is Focus Camera a reputable site? Or is it another one of those that sells "international" versions that don't come with a warranty?

FWIW, www.sony.com/retailers lists "Focus Camera" as an authorized dealer, but there's no link or other identifying info to ensure it's the same company

This deal is easily better than the Best Buy $500 one, the extras thrown in assure that.

Canon SL2 is also a great camera. You don't have to return unless you want to go for mirrorless.

Such an old, obsolete camera. If you have an iPhone that came out in last couple of years or so, there's literally no point to buy this camera

You really have no idea, right? Just because there is a dual camera on phones which can blur the background for portraits (and others) does not mean that is the only use case a camera is used for. And it is possible that your typical usage does not require a camera, but there could be others.

I bought this camera last time around and love it . Taken it on vacation twice and have a couple thousand photos so far. It is small enough to put in your jacket pocket with the kit lens. Yes it it "old" but far from obsolete. The old my Iphone is just as good is pretty much crap. There is just so much you can do with this camera. Do I wish it was a 6500 or 7III yes, but for a first decent camera it has been great. Even when I do upgrade it will still be useful.

Now the downside. The standard kit lens work fine but if you love this camera as much as I do you are soon going to want an upgrade, especially the 16-50 lens. The Sigma lens I ordered is $450 and I am sure I will get another 35mm or 50 mm lens. Pretty easy to add another $1000 in glass. Of course then you get into photo editing and Light Room is another $10 a month and you need a decent computer to run it. I guess the one upside is if you buy good glass you can use it as you upgrade.
