For those considering the new Google Home Hub.....this is a better deal IMO.

Walmart is going to have the Google Home Hub for $99 black friday
Will they be throwing in a $25 bonus like last year as well?

no need to sideload plex. you can cast plex to it, as well as hulu, youtube, google movies (those are just the ones i've tried). Netflix did not work last I tried, but hopefully will be implemented.
i can do that with google home hub too then? might keep one then

Anyone know how this works with Nest Hello?

I got the Hub and when someone rings my doorbell it automatically shows on the hub. I can also send a canned response from the Hub.

Wonder how the Lenovo works with Nest Hello.

Does this have a camera that can stay on all day, for things like watching a pet at home?

I have Google Home, Home mini, Philips Hue, TP Link Smart plugs, etc. The more different brands you get, the more difficult and complicated it is to use. I'm going to stick to Phillips Hue and Google brand stuff as much as I can. That being said, this offer is very tempting.
I have the 10" Lenovo Smart Display and the Google Home Hub. Both offer nearly identical experience. No other software needed.

Of course, the Google Home hub has the ambient light sensor and no camera. That tiny thing is definitely meant to be a picture frame/clock more than an entertainment device. Audio is very weak, barely better than the Google mini.

My 10" Lenovo sits perfectly in my kitchen. Looks good, loud speakers, big display. Great for pulling up recipes, listening to music, watching the news, YoutubeTV, etc...

It has a camera, but you can't use it as a security camera. Only for Google Duo calls at the moment.

It was updated and should work exactly the same way.

Yes, like that. A redirect that you have to click though. Amazon devices can handle it, just curious if the Google one can.
