Any tent without a rainfly will eventually allow you to get wet.

If you want a car camping tent that will protect you more and last longer, but easy to set-up...and it's only $35 at walmart.

In for this. Live in Corpus Christi, so I often pop a tent on the beach in Port Aransas. This one got great reviews. It's way too big to hike, but great for an easy pop up room with an ocean view.
Sometimes I pop a tent on the beach too but I just put a bag in my lap.

Yeah if only someone had guns to stop these shooters it wouldnt happen. Like the 5 cops who have been shot in the past 2 weeks of mass shooting? *crickets* . I dont think dicks cares that you wont buy, in fact I would bet they ran the numbers and know they are better off not catering to the neck beard yellow toothed folk.
This comment is such a joke. Have you seen gun death statistics in-depth? Two thirds of gun deaths are from suicide. How many people are killed by rifles..which includes AR-15s every year...400. I find it insulting that you paint all gun owners as neck beards when there are a good number of liberal gun owners. That's the problem with the democratic party nowadays, they went too far left just like the republicans went too far right. Get your head out of your ass.

It doesn't matter what vendor stops selling guns. Criminals will always have them. Honest people who obey by the law will fall victim between their government and low life criminals not to mention fake terrorist ploys. Id2020 everyone will be digitally documented and tracked at all times. Also Yes They have all of your info from your every device with wireless capabilities. What would your worst enemy do with your most coveted intimate secrets stored on your devices? You will do whatever they ask. If you even think this isn't possible or beyond your government to do so then please give me some of what your drinking.

Hmm, not sure what to do. I've been thinking I should replace my Coleman Sundome 4 that has been great since 2013 - something like 60 nights on it with no leaks but the zipper is getting snaggy.

I thought this 4-person would be great but it's actually smaller, 8x7 vs 9x7, so my cot won't fit. The 6-person would work for me though. But these have an "integrated rainfly, which means no proper rainfly and not as much ventilation. Another Sundome might work better in my case, especially since they're easy enough to setup that an "instant" version will only save like 5 minutes, max.
Any thoughts on any of this? Good prices, compared to what we normally see.
I paid a lot more for my insta tent. I live in CA so I don't run into much rain. I love it, super easy to put up by yourself. It may be heavier than most but I am only car camping so not carrying it very far. I would not hesitate at this price. I also have their Montana tent which is awesome. Not an insta but easy to put up.

Mostly agree. I tried one of the instant tents a few years ago, and it was significantly heavier and bulkier than the non-instant variety, and took longer to get it all folded back and into the bag compared to a regular tent.

When getting a regular tent, I found some design aspects make them easier/faster to setup than others. For example, I have a tent which uses a lot of long sleeves, and you have to thread the shock-corded poles into and out of the sleeves. And I have another tent that uses mostly clips that attach to the poles. The latter is easier/faster to setup and take down. I try to look for those sort of design features when buying a tent.

Edit: The instant tents in this deal seem a different design than the earlier one I tried, and might be better/faster for setup/takedown.
Yea my coleman instant tent (old model) was really nice and easy to setup. It was a huge advantage over the sleeved tents. After discovering the clips, it makes setup a breeze so I no longer use the instant tent. The instant tent is so big and heavy when its packed. My other tent is probably 1/4th the size when packed. One other requirement I have is having aluminum poles. Not for the weight savings but the poles basically snap together themselves.

A little deceptive having the price for the 6-person tent slashed to the price of the 4-person tent.

You wont see good research on gun deaths because gun manufacturers lobbied to ban it for some reason 🤷🏾 ♂️... But I agree, there are responsible gun owners who are for waiting periods and ending the sales of weapons of war. Sucks for me because I really wanted a turret for huntimg.

I would not buy this. It looks like it's missing the tent fly. I guarantee the seams will leak in the rain.

LOL, what a joke. Weapons of war. So does that mean banning scary looking guns like AR-15s only? Or are you going to come after my M1 Carbine and M1 Garand from WW2? Oh btw, those are semi-automatic just like an AR-15. What do you want to do beside regurgitating crap that the left nuts tell you? I'm all about longer waiting periods, proper training, and increased background checks. But learn some facts before you open your mouth.

This is a sale on a tent, not a NRA meeting.

Can this work in winter?
Sure.. in Florida.

Just kidding.. I live in Florida and have no idea what is needed for true winter camping.
