From the Best Buy Black Friday ad, available now. I passed on the pasta set from Costco at $89 and my wife won't let me forget. Some Costco have the pasta set at a .clearance price but it is not available at my Costco. With the fresh prep attachment this is a pretty good deal. MSRP is $249.

I own all the attachments except this. I haven't used the machine in 2 years.

Naturally, I have to buy this even though I'll keep buying the quick boil packaged hard pasta for speed and convenience.

Is this really a good deal though?

Amazon has the fresh prep attachment for $39
and
the pasta Cutter is $75 now but goes to $50 every 2 months (SD threads)

Together = $90?

This is not new - Best Buy has used a 3rd party service for quite some time. I've never had any issues with recent returns. The article even mentions they only use the 3rd party service for no-receipt returns as well. If you order online, you don't have anything to worry about in regards to returns.

I'd think twice about purchasing anything from Best Buy as they're making returns much more difficult, even with a receipt.

Does this have the new all-stainless pasta set, or the old ones? I can't find any info on it.

I would pick up the pasta attachments for $75 in a heartbeat. This is the 3 piece one. Maybe you were looking at just one of the cutters, or just the roller. This is roller, thin cutter, thick cutter. I am thinking about this just for the pasta. I don't really need the fresh prep attachments.

I already have the shredder/slicer which is essentially the same as the fresh prep attachment, but this would be a great deal just for the pasta attachment. I just might have to pick one up.

One time I bought a cpu from a market place seller, terrible experience, and I asked Best Buy to let me give a review/ rate the seller, Best Buy rejected me. I wonder where are all these 5 stars reviews about that seller coming from.

I was "warned" while trying to return a mechanical keyboard I bought (and had shipped) online.

It's Home Depot that only uses them for no-receipt returns.

As a note: I would never allow anyone to scan my drivers license. That increases the risk of identity theft. No corporate computer system is hack-proof. I choose carefully where I shop.

I actually got banned for a year for doing 3 receipted returns within a few months. the one was because they couldn't figure out how to fix a price, so they just returned and resold it. I rarely shop there so I wasn't too concerned, and all three returns were for several hundred dollars each plus they told me after the third that I wouldn't be able to return anything for a year, but this is still a legit concern.

good deal btw, thanks op.
