These are not Bluetooth. They are wired but good for the price anyway.

No. It utilizes the 2 AAA batteries for DSP feature of the headphone.

Just placed an order for 2x of the AKG headphones based on a CNET review. https://www.cnet.com/reviews/akg-...ss-review/ I know the CNET wireless, but should be the same mechanics and noise cancelling tech.

But for the people on this forum... the AKG or Bose QC25? What are people's opinions?

Hey, I actually own these JBL's! Just going to say up front that this is not a great price for a refurb, I think you're paying extra for the sexy chrome.

I got the non-chrome version brand new for $38 last year. They're pretty good headphones, though the powered "LiveStage" feature is a useless gimmick. It's basically a preset EQ that's supposed to make your music sound "live". I personally hate it.

The good part is that you can turn the little switch off and take the batteries out, and totally ignore that dumb feature. Without batteries, they're a perfectly good pair of non-powered, wired headphones. Good bass and good noise isolation, and a very durable, adjustable headband that fits my massive head.

Also worth mentioning: these have a 2.5mm jack on the headphone itself, so they won't work with most of my standard cords with 3.5mm on both ends. You'll need a 3.5mm to 2.5mm cord if you want to replace the included one.

Hey. I got the AKG N60NC. I hope they are good. Thanks karimhemani for pointing out to the CNET review also. It made me feel more confident about my purchase.
