Been watching the price of this for the last month to play with froza horizon, and the best deal for a while was $250 for the wheel + shifter combo, so I figure $200 for the wheel/pedals alone is a slick deal. Last year though around this time it looks like BB had $200 for wheel and a free shifter.

G29(Playstation version):

This is a really good deal, but I do want anyone considering this to keep in mind, we're very close to BF. Last year, all major retailers, not just Best Buy, had this + shifter for $199. If you absolutely don't want the shifter, go for it, but if you do want it, please wait a couple weeks. I myself am in the market for this and waiting for BF.

Props to OP.

Confused. Does this come with pedals or no?

nvm...Not sure why your description says wheel only. The pedals ARE included.

Good they are the responsive pedals. You don't want the unresponsive ones, not nearly as immersive.

Holding out for $200 with shifter. Would work great for Forza and my arcade cabinet.

Ya waiting on that too. Even if you don't want the shifter you can sell it.

I've been doing research into racing wheels etc so I get that this is nice and I want force feedback etc. Is there a more budget friendly way to get into this? I mostly want something my 5 year old(and I) can play Forza with. Like maybe old console controllers or something.

Edit: I mostly game on PC.

I did alot of research and I ended up with the thrustmaster t300 gt. I play it on pc .handles well once you get used to it. Assembly is hella easy too. Wonder how this g9 handles compared to mines.

The best cheap force feedback wheel on the market is the Thrustmaster T150. You can find used ones for around $120 on ebay/amazon. I bought one last year and love it so much it works on PS3/PS4/PC. The pedals are cheap but they get the job done and the wheel is so fun to use.On Forza Horizon 3 (which I play) the Xbox One controller also works really well with the game on PC, I'd say a wheel is only required if you play the more sim style Forza 7.

Thanks! I'm hoping to get Horizon 3 during the holiday season. I may just completely cheap out and get an old Forza and wheel for my Xbox 360 until I can spend some real money.
