So you have to pay to convert the bluray to digital. What is vudu shuts down

Most of these digital copies are available either UltraViolet or MoviesAnywhere, which is like a vault which holds your licenses and can be viewed across different digital vendors.

They in turn can also shut down but hopefully not.

yes costs starting at $2 to convert movies to digital

all signs of walmart investing more money into vudu in the future. they're going to start creating content with MGM studios specifically for vudu.

Haven't seen any WB TV shows go D2D so would say unlikely.

I had no idea that there were any television shows that are D2D. Interesting.

I don't think titles added under D2D go to your UV library. Also, it seems like UV is going away.

I think if VUDU goes down your digital rights to those movies will also go away. However, right now, VUDU is going strong.

I take it back. It's been a while since I checked. My D2D purchases do show up in my UV library, though I'm not sure if that is a guarantee if VUDU ever goes away.
