These type are total crap. Like the other said, drywall or i've used this for large cutouts in plastic abs for gauges and stuff, even then it was still total crap. Only thing it's good for is the really large sizes for drywall, for the smaller get some real ones with locking mandrels.

The Harbor Freight version is on sale now for $5.99. No reason to get this one unless you need the really big saws. These carbon steel saws are only good for a few cuts. If you plan to use a hole saw with any requency, just pay $20-30 for a bimetal kit on eBay.

They were cheap and therefore are cheap
for the price you pay it's a great deal and I'd do it again
They are a bit wobbly due to bends in the backings
They DO NOT cut a very clean hold so bware of that

i would be willing to bet it comes from the same exact factory. it looks exactly the same. same mold, same everything. i got my harbor freight one for considerably cheaper on sale.

ive had my HF one for about 5 years now? they work perfectly fine on all wood and plastic that ive thrown at it... i cant justify spending more.

Totally agree, looks exactly like the harbor freight set, even the plastic box. The bit on my HF set broke when I hit a nail as I was drilling into a wall frame (soft wood). The hole saws are holding pretty well after about 2 years of light use on soft woods, plywood, drywall, and not too thick red oak boards.
You are correct
same molds and most come from the same block
heres a reverse of same product
